Lipstick Jungle NOT canceled

It’s a jungle out there in the world of television production.

Lipstick Jungle is not canceled, not yet anyway.

For months now those in the know have said that Lipstick Jungle was all but dead, since NBC failed to give it a renewal notice.

The rumors were greatly exaggerated, or so say the brass at NBC.

"We officially have not canceled Lipstick Jungle," said Angela Bromstad, the president of NBC Universal's production studio.

OK! Can I get a woo hoo?

I’ve enjoyed the show so much this year. I’m dying to find out what happens with Kirby and Nico and her new boss and Joe and Victory and well… you get the point.

While Bromstad said the show isn’t canceled, it hasn’t exactly been given the go ahead for next year either, usually the sign that a show will live. But Bromstad wants to have the option to use it in the fall, it seems.

Well, I hope someone tells poor Robert Buckley, who had already landed a new gig on Privileged.

Please do NOT cancel - I love this show... since Sex and the City ended this is the 1st show to give me that 'girlfriends are better than anything and always there for you" vibe... Brooke, Kim and Lindsay are wonderful, please don't cancel!

I love this show! DO NOT CANCEL! It has it all: makes you laugh, cry, good looking men, great clothes, real friendships, etc. It's a keeper...at least for a couple more years. please?!

Ok so if it isn't cancelled when will we see the next new episode. What's up with tv execs these days? Why do they get us hooked on a show so we look forward to watching it on a particular night and then, without any warning it simply disappears from lineup sometimes for weeks at a time

My guess is that NBC is holding on to the show until fall to see what else they have i.e. anything that can get as good as ratings. If the show is coming back, you won't see any new episodes until fall.

I agree with you that it's frustrating to get hooked on a show and then just have it disappear. (Eli Stone, Dirty Sexy Money...) It's frustrating.
