Kelly Clarkson and Reba McEntire team up

American Idol star Kelly Clarkson and TV star/country-music crooner Reba McEntire are teaming up Sunday June 24 at 11 p.m. ET for the show CMT Crossroads.

The duo will perform their biggest hits, including Since You’ve Been Gone, Fancy, and Because of You, Clarkson’s smash hit and the current single from McEntire’s upcoming album.

Those of you not familiar with the show, CMT Crossroads pairs country music stars with popular artists from other genres. Frankly, I think Reba and Homer Simpson would have made a dynamic duo, but I guess Clarkson can keep up.

If you’re a fan of country music, you may have already heard Reba’s version of Because of You, that is playing all over country radio. It’s completely different than Kelly’s powerhouse performance, but I still liked it.

Check out the Kelly and Reba and let me know what you think.
