One Tree Hill: R.I.P Keith and charity basketball game

They did it. They actually killed Keith. *sniff, sniff* Does anyone have a box of Kleenex? How about a 12-step program for grieving the loss of TV characters?

I watched Wednesday’s entire show thinking that they couldn’t possibly leave Keith six feet under. But, sadly, he’s still taking the dirt nap. I thought the shooting would be a dream a la Bobby Ewing. (Call it denial – yes, one of the stages of grief.) But, he’s gone folks, as in Lucas-threw-a-handful-of-dirt-on-the-coffin gone.

Kudos to the One Tree Hill honchos for making Dan the killer. That has to be on of the all-time most shocking moments in TV history. I never thought Dan was full-on evil in the past. Now, there is no question. In the famous words of Paula Abdul, “He’s a cold-hearted snake.”

As for the rest of the show, well, does anyone have some Zoloft? The show was a tearjerker, with great performances and well-written scenes from start to finish. Lucas’ guilt and Karen’s anger deserve honorable mention. And Mouth is quickly becoming my new favorite character. Yes, I said Mouth. Don’t mock me.

James Lafferty Charity basketball game
In other One Tree Hill news, those of you who are close to Wilmington, North Carolina or want to make the trip, James Lafferty (Nathan Scott) is hosting a charity basketball game this weekend, April 2 at 2 p.m. at Cape Fear Community College. Along with Lafferty, several cast members, including Lucas, Peyton, Brooke, Dan and Karen are scheduled to appear. Tickets are $20. Not a bad deal, if you ask Tube Talk Girl.

Fans can get autographs and photos after the game, according to the press release. For more information check out the the WB One Tree Hill Web site

I can't believe I missed it. Son of a gun. We haven't had a new ep in a while, that I didn't even think to watch it. Oh, TPTB better replay it.

I'm sure they'll replay it. I probably would have missed it to, except TiVo rules. It was so good. There's some great Dan stuff, too, but I don't want to spoil you.
